Today I got my expander. It doesn't hurt, but it makes eating a big pain and nearly impossible. After four months of this i get braces, should be awesome....

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had lot's of people over but it was fun.

On Friday we went to PetSmart to buy my dog a dog bed. Well, while we were there I found the #1 thing on my Christmas List. A Conure. It's a small parrot-like bird with bright colorful feathers. They're talkative and friendly; just the bird for me!

Wow, so much suspense and action. This book was amazing and I can't wait to read the sequel, Catching Fire.

We had an orchestra party today. Allot of people were there of course, and it was tons of fun.

Halloween is only a month away. I wan't to be prepared. This year I want be Arwen, a beautiful elf from Lord of the Rings.

Volleyball!

Today was my team's tournament. We won and lost. But the best part was our "uniforms." We all had warrior makeup, bandannas, and socks. It was awesome.
Way to go Kleinwood!!! :D

Imagery

As most of you know, I am in love with writing. It's true.
For E.L.A. we have to make a PowerPoint on a literature term. I chose imagery. I LOVE that meaning and putting it into context. Here is my example if imagery. What do ya think?

• The blazing sun was glowing the same color of ripe lemon as it lit the midmorning sky. A blackened pavement, hotter than a gleed, baked under the intense heat. I stood at the bus stop saturated with sweat. My clothes were plastered to my sticky skin, and my lunchbox was issuing the putrid stench of a rotten ham sandwich mixed with spoiled chocolate milk.

Today was the first day of school... I have some pretty good classes and some pretty good teachers... then of course I have my share of not-so-great classes/classmates/teachers.

My Theater Arts teacher, Mr. Bradley, seems like a pretty cool guy, but I can already tell my classmates are nothing but a bunch of immature, disruptive 7th graders- mostly boys. (it's a 7 & 8th combined class)

School: Good or Bad?

Well, on Monday I go back to School....


I begin 8th grade, 3rd and last year at Doerre Intermediate.
This year I have Theater Arts, Chamber (that's the highest) Orchestra, and Heath/ Speech (semester classes)

Chef Master Caitlin Does it Again!

Last night we had a lovely Salmon dinner. Along side that was the most amazing, fluffy, mouthwatering, yummy homemade rolls ever. (created by yours truly!)

The New Me

Today I got my hair highlighted and cut! It is a big difference, but I love the change.

It feels really strange to look in the mirror. Even though I may look like a new person, the inside is still the same old me.

I got this book and I'm now OBSESSED!!! It's called Warriors. Can't wait to Finnish and continue to the next book.

Master Chef- Caitin

I had nothing to do today so I baked bread sticks and my famously amazing blueberry muffins-in the world's cutest apron that I made myself.

The breadsticks were served on the side with my mom's delish hamburger soup.
And yes, I know the muffins look a little burnt, but trust me they were good. (plus, I always sprinkle cinnamon on the top so that makes them look brown)

As the days role by

Well, it's only Tuesday and I'm soooo bored. There is nothing to do but watch Avatar: the Last Airbender (best show on earth, I love it :] )

We have all been grumpy, grouchy, and snippy to each other.

A while ago I was watching Avatar and my dad just said I was wasting time... I was just a litter hurt at that... but i'm fine now.

All I want is for school to start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yay cool shoes!
It ish Breann's last day....sad. But we had lots of fun. Yesterday we went to the salon and got our makeup done for free.(wow we look scary!) Breann really loves Jak, they had lot's of fun playing together :] We went to the park, but it was too hot...ugh I hate Texas heat. Here is a word from the girl herself: "Hi there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Breann Speaking!!!!!!!!! I have been in Texas for a week and i have decided that IT IS VERY HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you agree?? I have had the GREATEST time at the Davidson's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are SO nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope I can come back!!!!!!!!!!!!! BYE "Y'ALL!!!!!" Sea World

Our last day in San Antonio we went to Sea World. We saw Shamu, dolphins, fish, horses and some other stuff.
The only good rides were the Great White and Steel Eel(Breann and I rode the steel eel 5 times)
