Imagery

As most of you know, I am in love with writing. It's true.
For E.L.A. we have to make a PowerPoint on a literature term. I chose imagery. I LOVE that meaning and putting it into context. Here is my example if imagery. What do ya think?

• The blazing sun was glowing the same color of ripe lemon as it lit the midmorning sky. A blackened pavement, hotter than a gleed, baked under the intense heat. I stood at the bus stop saturated with sweat. My clothes were plastered to my sticky skin, and my lunchbox was issuing the putrid stench of a rotten ham sandwich mixed with spoiled chocolate milk.
