This past week I went to Austin. My cousin Will from Vegas had a national volleyball tournament there, so my family and I drove three hours to see him....We had a very interesting drive.
This grasshopper decided to hang out on the windshield for awhile. And this tree looks like something out of a Doctor Seuss book.
On the way there, mom surprised us by visiting the Blue Bell Creamery. 
Instead of staying at a hotel, Ariel's roommate Alexis from college who lives in Austin let us spend the night at her house. 
Her family is crazy! And obsessed! Here is Jake in one of the many Lord of the Rings Helmets. Now I want Arwen's Necklace. 
That put an end to day one in the capital of Texas.
